Kekaha Home Sweet Home Festival
Join us at St. Theresa School campus for a day of community, culture, and fun to celebrate the 'good old days' of Kekaha as a sugar mill town! Experience a unique run through the town of the historic Kekaha Sugar Plantation Mill, enjoy ono food, and shop with local vendors.

Take a walk down memory lane with special history booths highlighting the plantation days, while enjoying local music, games, and activities for the whole family. Come and support our school while celebrating the heart of Kekaha!
Free and open to the public — bring your friends, family, and your aloha spirit!
1K | 5K Sugar Shake Run

Step back in time and experience Kekaha’s history in a truly unique way! St. Theresa School’s Sugar Shake Run takes runners and walkers through the heart of the old Kekaha Sugar Plantation Mill. Surrounded by the towering structures and echoes of “back in the day,” runners will feel the spirit of plantation life while making new memories with family and friends. This one-of-a-kind event blends fitness, community, and heritage—celebrating the roots of Kekaha while supporting the future of our learners.

Division 1 - Ages 12 and under | cost $20 per entry
*Parents/Guardians must be present with children 12 years and under.

Division 2 - Ages 13 and up | cost $30 per entry

Have a story to tell about Kekaha's vibrant past? We invite you to share your memories and stories to enrich our community's present at the Kekaha Home Sweet Home Festival on November 22, 2025 at the St. Theresa School Campus.

We're looking for individuals who can share personal or historical narratives about Kekaha. This is an opportunity to pass down traditions, history, and personal experiences that have shaped our town. Your stories will help connect generations and keep the spirit of Kekaha alive.

How to Participate
Storytellers may choose to share their stories in one of two ways:

Main Stage: A featured time slot on our main stage, perfect for those comfortable with a larger audience.

Storytelling Booth: A more intimate setting for one-on-one or small group conversations.
